Stoltzen Apollo

Stoltzen Apollo is a complete AVoverIP solution for use in a wide range of applications. SA-C - the Apollo controller - enables a wide range of functions and ways to manage the AV installation.

Both the 3000 and 6000 series are controlled by SA-C and use the same base of codes for control. An extensive API document is available for integration with 3rd party control systems.

In addition, the Stoltzen Apollo comes with a free iPad app for a graphical drag'n'drop interface, which also has a source preview. This makes it extremely easy and cost-effective to provide the customer with a clear interface for managing sources and screens.

AV over IP allows you to send audio and video signals over a standard IP-based network. You place a transmitter at each source, and a receiver at each screen, a control box for administration - and distribute the signals with a standard IP-based switch - over a standard network cable.
 

This provides many advantages over proprietary matrix solutions:

1. Standard network cables, without special requirements. All the installer needs to do is ensure that the cabling is Cat.6 compliant
2. Cost-effective network switches. You get great flexibility and can easily expand the installation by inserting larger switches, or stacking several switches.
3. Power supply via the PoE standard. You avoid the cost of an electrician, because the power comes via the network cable.
